Key Responsibilities- Activity Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement engaging activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, promoting socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Activities Director and other team members to ensure seamless execution of activities and events, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Resource Management: Manage activity supplies, materials, and resources within budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resident participation, behavior, and progress, providing valuable insights for care planning and program development.
- Community Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with local community organizations, vendors, and service providers to enhance our residents' experiences and opportunities.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and events, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Associate's degree in a related field, such as recreation, hospitality, or a similar field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation, hospitality, or a similar field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing engaging activities and events.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
- Certifications: Fingerprint clearance card, CPR certification, and current TB test (preferred).
- Other: Valid driver's license, flexible schedule, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
