Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Attendant to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Nutrition Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service in our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to patients, adhering to therapeutic diets and food safety guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to hospital and department standards.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless food service operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.
  • 1 year of customer service, computer skills, patient interaction, healthcare food service, and food service experience.
  • Healthcare food service using therapeutic diets.
  • Experience in use of computer applications, e.g., Word, Office, etc., with focus on data input.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume call centers.
