Transformative Care Nurse Practitioner

The May Institute Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at our Eastern Massachusetts Adult Services Center on the South Shore. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch healthcare services tailored specifically to adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent clinical skills and a compassionate spirit. The successful candidate will utilize their organizational skills to maintain meticulous records, ensuring compliance with state regulations. They will also be responsible for obtaining and maintaining knowledge of all individuals, including significant medical history, current medical problems, and current medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date healthcare records
- Conduct routine and problem-centered health assessments
- Administer medical treatments prescribed by the individual's physician
- Deliver first aid in emergency situations
- Participate in internal psychiatric appointments for individuals served
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- 1-3 years' related work experience (new grads will be considered)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is desirable
