Job Title: ETL Tester with Python

Capgemini is seeking a skilled ETL Tester with expertise in Python to join our team. As an ETL Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and automate test cases, improving product quality and reducing release time.
  • Design and implement automated tests using internal and open-source tools and infrastructure.
  • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Work closely with software engineers to help them with product architecture and features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test cases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Examine test results, advocating for quality in every phase of the development process.
  • Document and track bugs to closure, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, providing transparent updates and insights.
  • Work in an Agile Scrum environment, delivering high-quality software that meets business needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an ETL Tester.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Python.
  • Strong SQL skills, with expertise in data comparison and automation.
  • Python scripting experience, with proficiency in data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy.
  • Strong DB testing skills, with ability to analyze and resolve complex data issues.
  • Strong requirement analysis skills, with ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with test management tools, with ability to track and report on test results.
  • Flexible with timings, with ability to work in multiple time zones.
  • Strong QA methodology knowledge, with ability to apply industry best practices.
