Ab Initio ETL Specialist

Infosys is seeking an Ab Initio Developer: Engage in the requirements gathering process and produce comprehensive requirements documentation. Collaborate in the development of application architecture documentation to ensure deliverables align with architectural standards. Produce high-quality code outputs and assist colleagues in quality assurance processes to ensure design specifications are fulfilled. Develop user documentation for the designated modules. Oversee validation efforts for the assigned modules across various testing types, including Functional, Integration, System, and User Experience testing. Assist in formulating the "Go Live" strategy and manage related tasks within the plan. Conduct root-cause analysis for any issues that surface post-implementation and devise suitable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be within commuting distance of Whippany, NJ, or be open to relocating. This role may involve travel within the United States.
  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology is essential.
  • Proficient hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tools is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in the complete implementation of data warehouses and data marts.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle/Teradata, SQL, and Unix shell scripting is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills are crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture principles.
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and the modeling of unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in the banking sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment that includes both Business and Technology teams.
  • A desire to work in a global delivery setting is highly valued.
