Infosys is seeking an Ab Initio Developer: Engage in the requirements gathering process and develop comprehensive requirements documentation. Contribute to the formulation of application architecture documentation to ensure deliverables align with architectural specifications. Produce high-quality code outputs and assist colleagues in quality assurance processes to ensure design specifications are fulfilled. Generate user documentation for designated modules. Oversee validation efforts for assigned modules across various testing types, including Functional, Integration, System, and User Experience testing. Aid in the formulation of the 'Go Live' strategy and manage relevant activities within the plan. Conduct root-cause analysis for any issues that surface post-implementation and devise suitable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be within commuting distance of the designated work location or be willing to relocate. This role may involve travel within the United States.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology is required.
  • Practical experience with Ab Initio ETL is essential.
  • Proven experience in the complete implementation of data warehouses and data marts.
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle/Teradata, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities are crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture principles.
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and the modeling of unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience in the Banking sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment involving both Business and Technology teams.
  • A willingness to work in a global delivery context is preferred.
