Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Warehouse Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and is tasked with overseeing and guiding Warehouse Operators to ensure optimal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the appropriate handling of finished products throughout the processes of Receiving, Transferring, Picking, and Shipping.
  • Ensure timely task completion to guarantee accurate and on-time order shipments.
  • Manage cost efficiency through effective labor utilization and safe handling of products and equipment.
  • Promote a safe and efficient working environment for all associates.
  • Maintain cleanliness in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. In the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor, responsibilities will shift to the Warehouse Lead.

Essential Duties

  • Manage Receiving and Put Away processes to keep the dock clear and ensure product availability for picking.
  • Facilitate product transfers to optimize storage and maintain well-stocked picking aisles.
  • Ensure timely preparation of orders for shipping.
  • Oversee shipping operations to meet delivery schedules.
  • Train associates in their respective tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures, especially regarding RF transactions and product rotation.
  • Address and resolve issues promptly, providing necessary training and corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all GMP regulations and Master Sanitation Schedules.
  • Encourage safe operation of material handling equipment among all associates.
  • Actively participate in daily warehouse and shipping office tasks to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a warehouse setting, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
