Job Title: Senior Manager of Engineering

Meadow Gold is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Engineering to lead our engineering team in delivering exceptional results. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of engineering services to our assigned plant, driving innovation, and improving productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team to ensure the delivery of engineering services to the assigned plant.
  • Collaborate with plant management and corporate staff to utilize equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Design, specify, and commission capital projects that deliver project scope, on-time, and on-budget, meeting agreed-to stakeholder expectations.
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Develop, report, and analyze key maintenance performance indicators to create and implement corrective actions.
  • Remain current with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.
  • Ensure corporate policies and standards are followed in both capital project implementation and daily maintenance.
  • Share best practices within the Maintenance Department.
  • Promote a safe and environmentally sound workplace that complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide management of employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline strongly preferred.
  • 7 years of experience within an engineering role.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required; 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Union (for union facilities), Safety, and Workers Compensation experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Auto CAD.
  • Experience managing capital projects.
  • Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
