About This Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the TJX Companies team as a Supplier Masterfile Coordinator - Payables Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of supplier data within our Oracle Supplier Master File.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Data Management: Review and verify supplier requests for creation, updates, and deletions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit guidelines.
  • Supplier Master File Maintenance: Create and/or change supplier data in the Oracle Supplier Master File, obtaining proper documentation and ensuring changes are executed accurately.
  • Banking Information Management: Verify and add banking information for ACH/Wire payments suppliers and associates, following audit guidelines to prevent fraud.
  • Payment Processing: Run payment processes and payment registers for reporting to internal user groups, process stop-payment requests, and provide copies of cashed checks as requested.
  • Annual 1099 Processes: Assist with reviewing data queries, updating and/or correcting supplier data as requested.
  • System Testing: Assist with testing updates and changes to the Oracle system.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Payables and/or related business experience desired.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify 'out of the norm' scenarios, competent and fluid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle (a bonus).
  • Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills based on analysis, experience, and judgment, with the ability to call out issues in a timely manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively, and clearly document findings as needed.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide high-quality customer service to a variety of contacts in both verbal and written form.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain an excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with changing needs.

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $19 to $24.25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
