Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Credit Analyst, your primary duties will include:
  • Assessing and reviewing delinquent accounts while communicating with customers regarding overdue payments.
  • Evaluating the credit risk associated with both new and existing accounts.
  • Negotiating settlements with customers who have overdue accounts.
  • Issuing demand letters and escalating accounts for potential legal action or write-off.
  • Maintaining accurate and reconciled customer account balances.
  • Resolving conflicts between sales objectives and acceptable risk levels.
  • Managing high-volume accounts, including those of Fortune 100 companies.
  • Handling communications through phone calls and emails effectively.
  • Addressing invoicing, cash application, and sales tax inquiries.
  • Processing new customer credit applications and account setups.
  • Conducting manual bank deposits as required.
  • Incorporating ALTA's Guiding Principles into daily operations.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in cash posting and balancing daily cash transactions.
  • Experience in a dealership environment with a focus on sales.
  • Management of a credit portfolio exceeding $2 million.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with E-Emphasys/Extend.

Skills:
Applicants should demonstrate:
  • Strong language skills, with the ability to read and interpret business documents and write clear reports.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculating figures such as discounts and percentages.
  • Problem-solving abilities to navigate various situations with limited standardization.

Physical Demands:
This role requires:
  • Regular use of hands for typing and communication.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
