Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Finance Assistant to join our team at Aurora Contractors, Inc. This role will be responsible for assisting in the billing process, accounts payable and receivable, and running reports for job costing. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel experience, experience with construction software, and contract management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the billing process, including approving subcontractor requisitions and adjusting owner billings
  • Support various analyzes, such as MWBE utilization, and reconcile accounts
  • Interact with the project management team and finance department to prioritize workload
  • Meet with the finance team to set departmental goals and address open items

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Experience with construction software
  • Contract management experience
  • Experience with job costing, AIA billing, and lien waivers
  • Great organizational skills for follow-up and multitasking
  • 5 years of experience

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 7 or more years of related experience
  • GC Pay/Procore experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance
