Education Specialist for Inclusive Learning

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our exceptional team of educators in Montpelier, VT.
About the RoleThis full-time position offers a guaranteed number of hours, competitive hourly pay, and weekly direct deposit. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inclusive education practices and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Developing Individualized Education Plans: Collaborate with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service providers to create tailored IEPs that cater to students' unique needs and abilities.
- Curriculum Adaptation: Modify curriculum materials to ensure accessibility and promote learning among students with disabilities.
- Instructional Strategies: Employ various instructional methods, accommodations, and assistive technologies to foster student engagement and success.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Vermont teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
- A $65,000 - $80,000 per year salary range, depending on experience.
