Job Description

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking a highly skilled Training Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Department, this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our training program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma-informed care and experience in training development and delivery. They will utilize adult learning principles to design and create engaging learning solutions that meet the needs of our staff and promote a culture of quality, equity, and operational excellence.

The Training Manager will oversee the development and implementation of our training program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They will also be responsible for coordinating new hire trainings, maintaining Relias data entry, and recommending LMS resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate TCC training programs
  • Utilize existing programs and tracking mechanisms to maintain ongoing training documentation
  • Oversee and maintain Relias data entry and maintenance
  • Recommend and assign LMS, Relias online training resources
  • Coordinate and manage all new hire trainings in collaboration with leaders and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree
  • Four years of trauma-informed care experience and/or combined training development and delivery in a place serving youth or mental health services
  • Professional certification to deliver TCI required and/or willing to obtain
  • Valid State of CO Driver License
