Job OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and colleagues while managing transactions and ensuring accurate balancing of various cash drawers within the Casino's Cage Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver friendly, efficient service to guests, including greeting them, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues within the club/cage area.
  • Support Casino promotions and special events as required.
  • Distribute complimentary play credits to club members within authorized limits.
  • Maintain precise records of assigned bank balances.
  • Process cash transactions for chips and gaming tokens promptly and courteously.
  • Handle approved checks and cash advances for customers.
  • Exchange foreign currency, ensuring accurate conversion rates.
  • Stay informed about the Casino's facilities and events to assist customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with other Guest Service Hosts in the Cage/Club as necessary.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to enhance communication and information flow.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in departmental records and reports.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and a clean work environment.
  • Address minor customer disputes related to the department.
  • Register new guests for the Players Club and issue membership cards as requested.
  • Assist customers with account access issues.
  • Manage bank transactions for authorized departments, ensuring security of funds and documentation.
  • Process payouts for jackpots and giveaways, ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
  • Uphold confidentiality at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Some college coursework in Banking, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Strong communication skills are essential. Candidates must be detail-oriented and proficient with computers.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and respond to customer inquiries.
MATH SKILLS:
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to various situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Candidates should be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require visual acuity.
