POSITION SUMMARY:

The Travel Center is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee its daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, budgets, and procedures. This role is pivotal in delivering prompt and efficient service to our valued customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all transactions in alignment with company policies.
  • Safeguard the cash drawer throughout the shift.
  • Exhibit a professional and approachable demeanor towards customers and colleagues, even in challenging situations.
  • Assist customers with their selections and purchases, promote additional sales, handle exchanges, redeem promotions, and provide directions within the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Travel Center to uphold the company’s image.
  • Perform stocking duties to ensure product availability at all times.
  • Participate in monthly inventory checks as required.
  • Strive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the physical ability to stand for extended periods and move merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all inventory items to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Understand all relevant gaming and beverage regulations.
  • Be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable attendance record.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience.

SKILLS:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions in various formats and to address problems involving multiple variables.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and using hands for fine manipulation, as well as reaching with arms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment typically features moderate noise levels, which may increase in certain areas.
