We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced nursing professional to join our team as an Adjunct Nursing Faculty member at ECPI University. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses by teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses in a five-week interval format, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the university's nursing program goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, as well as contribute to the development of assessment tools and evaluation methods.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the state where the program is licensed.
- Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Previous nursing experience in one or more of the following specialties: Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics.
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong academic and professional record.
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
