Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as an Area Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This role will play a vital part in advancing the FCA mission and vision in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director and Advisory Team to implement the ministry plan for the assigned area.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to discipleship in FCA Sports Environments, making disciples who make disciples.
  • Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.
Ministry Advancement
  • Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events.
  • Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples in the Sports Environments.
Talent Advancement
  • Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
Board Advancement
  • Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to pray, serve, and give.
Donor Advancement
  • Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to achieve full funding.
  • Manage and steward finances for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by growing the Home Team, major donors, and events.
International Advancement
  • Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going.

This position will work closely with the Area Director to engage, equip, and empower athletes and coaches in the assigned counties. Traveling to these counties will be necessary, and the position may be assigned certain counties to focus on.
