Riverside Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing DOT & PM Inspections on trailers, as well as all trailer preventative maintenance and repair. You will also be responsible for tagging all warranty parts with appropriate information, including cause of failure, mileage, and removal date. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work area, keeping spills, grease, and debris to a minimum. You will also be responsible for completing all repair orders in a timely manner, ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit. Basic computer skills are required to input vehicle information and diagnose equipment. Basic tools are also required. You will also be responsible for trailer electrical work, testing equipment for proper operations, fixing and repairing tires as necessary, welding and fabrication of steel and aluminum as necessary, and keeping work areas clean and free of clutter. A current valid driver's license is also required. You will also be responsible for performing additional duties and special projects as needed or directed.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; ASE Diesel Certification, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 1 year experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Valid CDL License
