Job Overview

As a New Account Administrator at CPI Security, you will be instrumental in the assessment and evaluation of sales for both new and existing clientele. Your role will involve scrutinizing the details provided in contracts, quotes, credit assessments, homeownership documentation, and other relevant materials to authorize sales. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, robust analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the onboarding process of customer accounts within the CPI systems.
  • Ensure adherence to CPI policies while consistently applying them in relation to Underwriting and Sales Requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in data verification within monitoring systems to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all internal CPI policies and apply them consistently in the evaluation and decision-making process for sales approvals and denials.
  • Assist in resolving challenges associated with underwriting decisions.
  • Manage underwriting and new sale queues within strict deadlines.
  • Communicate underwriting decisions clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Review escalated credit reports to provide guidance and enforce compliance with expected sales requirements.
  • Timely review of submitted approval items to ensure successful account activation.
  • Possess a working knowledge of all part, pricing, and discount information to effectively address internal and external inquiries.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and principles.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new policies and procedures as corporate standards evolve.
  • Professionalism and courtesy in handling both internal and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain extensive product knowledge, including current features, specifications, promotions, pricing, and discounts.
  • Proficiency in evaluating credit reports for both residential and commercial clients.
  • Proficiency in assessing home ownership records.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to complete tasks accurately within established timelines and standards.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
  • Understand and embrace the company's core values, goals, mission, vision, and priorities as set by management, continually seeking ways to meet or exceed objectives.

Other Experience Required

  • High school diploma required; some college education preferred.
  • Up to two years of prior underwriting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a call center environment preferred.
