Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-level practice in pediatric infectious disease pharmacotherapy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical pharmacotherapy programs to enhance patient care and medication safety
- Provide expertise for Medication Use Evaluations and identify areas for improvement
- Precept Pharmacy Residents and mentor Pharmacy students
- Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
- Develop and maintain clinical practice guidelines and policies to optimize pharmacy operations
- Contribute to the professional development of staff and provide oversight for quality assurance of clinical pharmacy programs
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
- New York State Pharmacist Licensure
- PGYI pharmacy residency training
- PGY2 pharmacy residency training or equivalent salaried professorship at a school of pharmacy
- Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or other specialty within 18 months of hire
