As a Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist in Adult Transplant Services, you will be part of a team that comprises more than 200 locations throughout the New York area, including five inpatient locations, a children's hospital, three emergency rooms and a level 1 trauma center.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of a high-level practice in Adult Transplant Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting challenges related to the delivery of patient care, clinical program management, and staff supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing clinical practice guidelines to enhance pharmaceutical care and medication safety
  • Identifying and developing policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations while meeting accreditation standards and applicable regulations
  • Providing oversight for quality assurance of clinical pharmacy programs to improve quality of care
  • Contributing to the professional development of staff, including Pharmacists and Clinical Pharmacists

To qualify for this role, you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy, PGYI pharmacy residency training, and PGY2 pharmacy residency training or equivalent salaried professorship at a school of pharmacy.
