As a seasoned General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of your store and team by setting high standards for performance and customer service. You will provide ongoing coaching and training to your team to reach company objectives, increase revenue, and develop their skills. Reporting to the District Director of Operations, you will oversee marketing efforts for your location, champion store security and loss prevention, and review all transactions to create a growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, coach, and develop all store Team Members to build new business and maintain store profitability.
  • Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding company performance standards, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead your team to reach or exceed sales goals by selling loan or pawn products to consumers, identifying local marketing strategies, and leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities.
  • Supervise and maintain office security and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
  • Ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a visually pleasing and professional atmosphere that aligns with the values and mission of the company.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
