Regional Construction Specialist Northeast

About the Role
The Regional Construction Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the growth and improvement of franchises within the construction services division. This position involves evaluating current processes and performance, providing solutions to enhance performance, and guiding franchises in implementing the construction portion of the SERVPRO Operating System.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Directors of Operations to achieve regional construction growth goals.
- Evaluate franchises' current construction processes and performance, leveraging business intelligence to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance to resolve franchise problems, improve performance, and expedite growth.
- Help franchises implement the SERVPRO construction Operating System, including business development, staff training, and technology adoption.
- Develop trust and credibility within the franchise community, building effective and collaborative relationships.
- Document and report potential Operating System improvement areas based on implementation challenges or identification of best practices.
- Perform franchise evaluations to ensure a uniform and consistent service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in residential or light commercial construction, with a focus on construction business management and project management.
- General manager or owner experience in a construction company, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Skills in business management, influencing others, multitasking, prioritizing, excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and analytical skills are required.
- Leadership, integrity, tact, diplomacy, and commitment to company values are essential.
- Business consulting and/or training skills are preferred.
- Advanced understanding of construction processes, intermediate understanding of construction business practices, and intermediate working knowledge of performance improvement principles, goal setting, and business intelligence are required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field, or comparable experience in a construction management role, is preferred.
