Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Ascension Providence Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
