Job Title: Nurse Specialist for Cardiovascular Unit

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely and accurate manner
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team

**Requirements:**

* Current RN license in Texas
* Minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience
* BLS and ACLS certification
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification

**Skills and Abilities:**

* Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical terminology
* Ability to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
