Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Ascension Providence Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient condition.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
