Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Ascension Providence Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
