Job Title: Branch Manager

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional programs and services to our members. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall daily operations of our assigned branch, ensuring a safe, positive, and motivational environment for members, families, staff, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery and member engagement.
  • Develop and implement annual strategic plans, setting growth goals in key areas, including metrics.
  • Manage branch financial resources, including handling payments and donations, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Oversee facility management, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for members and staff.
  • Develop and maintain public relations to increase visibility of programs and services within the community.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President on outreach plans, service committees, special events, and training.
Requirements:
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
  • A minimum of three years relevant experience working in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
  • Management skills to develop and implement long-range and operational plans, and identify and effectively coordinate resources to meet program needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of personalities.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills to effectively lead, motivate, manage staff, and evaluate the efforts of staff in the accomplishment of program goals.
