Job Overview:

As a Senior Technical Manager at NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company, you will be responsible for leading the overall management and operational efficiency of broadband services. This role requires a strong background in telecommunications, specifically with copper and fiber networks, and a commitment to enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive management to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations management: oversee daily operations of broadband services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in network management, customer support, and installation services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement necessary changes.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the operations budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and monitoring expenditures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, staying updated on changes in laws affecting broadband services.

Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with customer service and network operations teams to enhance the customer experience and address operational issues impacting service delivery.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a strong background in telecommunications operations.
  • Exceptional customer service and operations management experience, with a willingness to relocate to the Gretna, VA area.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficient administrative and organizational skills.
