Role of Culinary Team Members

Culinary Team Members are tasked with the preparation, production, and presentation of all menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items following established recipes and accommodate special requests
  • Availability to work various hours, including weekends
  • Safely and efficiently operate all necessary kitchen tools and equipment
  • Effectively communicate to fulfill job requirements based on written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Work in a confined, bustling space with varying noise and temperature levels
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as necessary
  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift, navigating safely through all areas of the restaurant

Essential Duties

  • Adhere to portion control and inventory management standards
  • Maintain food safety and quality protocols
  • Accurately read and interpret thermometers
  • Communicate any food delays or issues to the Coordinator
  • Track menu item counts and notify management when quantities are low
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all items produced
  • Understand and implement food allergy procedures and special requests
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Follow all workplace policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
