Job Summary

The Optical Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling, fitting, and dispensing eyewear to customers. This role requires strong selling skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and dispense eyewear to customers, meeting sales and company objectives.
  • Assist customers with selecting eyewear, recommending products based on lifestyle and prescription.
  • Perform insertion and removal training of contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
  • Educate customers on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
  • Notify customers when orders are ready or of any delays.
  • Assist with inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising according to brand and company standards.
Requirements
  • 1+ years related experience or training in retail/customer service preferred.
  • Strong selling skills, aimed at meeting both the store's and self-sales targets, by following company policies.
  • Ability to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
  • Saturday availability required.
