About the Role

As a Family Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in families' lives by providing clinical support and empowering positive change.

This is a part-time flexible position working up to 29 hours per week. Preferred availability for 2:30-8 PM Mon - Fri. Some weekend hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower parents by focusing on their strengths and building family goals with respect for each family's unique culture.
  • Facilitate healthy bonds enabling children to return home safely during Family Visits.
  • Coach parents using the evidence-based Visit Coaching model.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree with two years of related social services or 4yrs of relevant experience related to the position.
  • Prior experience working with children and/or families.
  • Compassion, kindness, patience, and reliability.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a Team.
  • Valid driver's license with Motor Vehicle background check, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance that meets agency standards.
