Job Title: Family Support SpecialistAbout the Position

This is a full-time position as a Family Support Specialist with Waypoint in Concord, NH. The salary for this role is estimated at around $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with families who may have histories of trauma, intimate partner violence, mental health issues, and/or substance abuse issues. As a Home Visitor, you will work intensively and over the long term to provide education about parenting, child development, communication, stress management, organization, and budgeting. You will also help families access resources in the community that will benefit their families.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
  • At least 1-2 years of home visiting, infant/toddler development, and/or parenting education experience preferred
  • High Level of Organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, Passionate, bold and courageous
  • Computer Skills and Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required
  • Excellent verbal, written and face-to-face communication skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic to vulnerable families and individuals
  • Valid Driver's License with Auto Insurance that meets the minimum liability coverage
