Epic Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Liaison Engineer to join our Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating design solutions to address nonconforming electrical parts, assemblies, and systems on an airplane.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems for electrical parts, assemblies, and systems
- Develop and implement test procedures to define acceptable defects
- Utilize avionics software to understand issues and identify acceptable solutions
- Collaborate with quality control, manufacturing, and other departments to provide technical support
- Investigate reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems
- Interpret engineering drawings and aid in the correction of errors
- Develop experience in Federal Aviation Regulations and regulatory processes
- 1-2 years relevant experience or education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a closely related discipline
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles and design standards
- Strong knowledge of computer-aided design tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mid-level up to experienced Aerospace Engineering position
- On-the-job training and advancement opportunities
