Job Overview

Epic Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Liaison Engineer to join our Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating design solutions to address nonconforming electrical parts, assemblies, and systems on an airplane.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems for electrical parts, assemblies, and systems
  • Develop and implement test procedures to define acceptable defects
  • Utilize avionics software to understand issues and identify acceptable solutions
  • Collaborate with quality control, manufacturing, and other departments to provide technical support
  • Investigate reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings and aid in the correction of errors
  • Develop experience in Federal Aviation Regulations and regulatory processes
Requirements
  • 1-2 years relevant experience or education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a closely related discipline
  • Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles and design standards
  • Strong knowledge of computer-aided design tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
