About the Role

The Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the UCI Health team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and UCI Health policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in medical telemetry.
Requirements
  • Current California RN license.
  • Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire.
  • NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certification.
  • Recent Acute Care experience in Telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
