The Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their unique needs and developing targeted interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current California RN license.
- Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire.
- NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Recent Acute Care experience in Telemetry.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
