Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Controls and Automation Team: Oversee the design, programming, and integration of PLC, VFD, SCADA, and MES systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Develop and execute strategies for the continuous improvement of automation processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to support production operations.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in all automation projects.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of automation initiatives.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Controls and Automation team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7 plus years of experience in controls and automation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with PLC programming, VFDs, SCADA systems, and MES.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
