Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality programs for middle and high school students, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of middle and high school students, aligning with YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Teen Director to set goals and review program standards, fostering creativity and awareness among participants.
  • Collaborate with the management team to coordinate service delivery and ensure a youth-friendly environment.
  • Facilitate daily clubs based on teen interest, promoting engagement and participation.
  • Maintain and monitor enrollment and participation in Y programs.
  • Ensure teens participate in required training, special events, and community collaborations.
  • Support the Regional Teen Program Director with recruitment efforts in the community.
  • Attend YMCA, community, and collaborative meetings as requested.
  • Maintain and care for program areas and supplies.
  • Meet reporting and tracking requirements for collaborative programs.
  • Communicate program information, problems, and concerns as they occur.
  • Adhere to YMCA policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Remain current in required and voluntary training to promote Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
  • Job performance will be evaluated every 30 days to ensure quality program delivery.
