POSITION OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Head of Employee Experience & Talent Development to enhance our organizational framework.

This critical position will spearhead initiatives aimed at attracting, nurturing, and retaining exceptional talent while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources, particularly in devising and executing strategies that enrich the overall employee journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enhancing Employee Experience:

  • Formulate and implement a holistic strategy that aligns with our organizational mission, values, and objectives, ensuring that all HR practices and interactions embody these principles.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and continuous enhancement throughout the employee lifecycle by launching initiatives that improve satisfaction, retention, and overall well-being.
  • Design and lead recognition programs that acknowledge and reward employee contributions and successes across the organization.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies and frameworks to drive employee engagement initiatives, including quarterly events and year-end celebrations.
  • Implement an employee feedback program to collect and analyze insights, utilizing findings to foster improvements and address concerns.
  • Chair a committee of culture and engagement advocates committed to advancing our workplace ethos in alignment with The New IEM's growth and values.
  • Establish corporate diversity policies and oversee all aspects of diversity initiatives.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support our diversity objectives.

Talent Management:

  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with key leaders and cross-functional teams to implement performance management initiatives across various business lines.
  • Develop resources, tools, and training programs to facilitate readiness, manage transitions, and promote ownership throughout the organization.
  • Ensure a clear communication strategy is established for any talent programs or initiatives managed, delivering timely and relevant information to the intended audience.
  • Align talent management programs with our organizational philosophy and ensure seamless integration into HR technology and practices.
  • Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and make informed decisions.
  • Lead succession planning and career development initiatives to prepare the organization for future growth.

Collaboration and Partnership:

  • Work in tandem with HR colleagues in Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal, and HR Programs to create comprehensive solutions that enhance the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with regional HR partners to ensure consistency of engagement initiatives across global locations.
  • Partner with Employee Relations to address and resolve employee concerns effectively.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders at all levels to ensure they are equipped to cultivate a positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate engagement principles into management practices.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resource management, with a focus on employee engagement and diversity & inclusion.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
