About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful launch of our New Glenn launch vehicle. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company that's shaping the future of space travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the propulsion engineering disciplines for New Glenn, ensuring compliance with National Security Space Launch program requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our US government partner at the US Space Force.
  • Provide leadership in achieving required certifications for launch services, including design, analysis, qualification test data, drawings, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver sophisticated products across multiple technical subject areas.
  • Communicate results effectively to support government certification requests.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, propulsion, or aerospace engineering or an equivalent technical management field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) with large-scale, development aerospace programs.
  • Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices.
  • Experience with customer certification or mission assurance practices.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong track record of product ownership and ability to earn trust and develop positive relationships.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with MS Office and related IT systems.

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,060.00-$168,084.00, depending on location. You'll also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
