About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a New Glenn NSSL Certification Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the systems engineering disciplines and associated scope required to certify the New Glenn launch vehicle in direct support of the National Security Space Launch program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partner at the US Space Force.
  • Provide leadership in achieving the required certifications for providing launch services for critical national security payloads.
  • Develop, review, and provide certification products, including design, analysis, qualification test data, drawings, reports, etc.
  • Work within a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills are required to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical management field.
  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering V, including requirements development, verification plans, and V&V closure.
  • Desired understanding of system safety products, including fault trees, functional hazard assessments, hazard sheets, and/or other related systems safety tools.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) with large-scale, development aerospace program.
  • Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices.
  • Experience with customer certification or mission assurance practices.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and excellent communication and coordination skills.

At Blue Origin, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $110,055-$154,077, depending on location.
