itrek is a dynamic organization that empowers leaders to engage their networks in meaningful Israel experiences. With a mission to foster an understanding and appreciation of Israel's unique culture, diversity, richness, and complex reality, itrek has been making a significant impact since its launch in 2011.

Over the years, itrek has expanded its reach, piloting Launchpad, a program that connects with mission-aligned leaders and organizations to create Israel Treks for their influential peers and members. In July 2024, Schusterman Family Philanthropies REALITY journeys was brought under itrek, further solidifying its commitment to bringing leaders from diverse backgrounds and sectors on formative learning journeys to Israel.

Position Overview

The itrek Network is a vibrant community of 25,000 itrek Leaders and participants, students and graduates from top MBA, law, policy, and STEM graduate programs and leadership programs worldwide. As a vital part of this network, the Associate Director will oversee the programmatic calendar, including quarterly social and educational events, and monthly networking initiatives.

This role requires a strong creative, interpersonal, and communication skills, including excellent writing abilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience in community engagement, program development, or marketing. A passion for itrek's mission and ability to work in a team environment are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Project Management - 50%
  • Manage the design, recruitment, and facilitation of itrek Network programs and offerings.
  • Increase engagement on Alumni communication channels.
  • Track and analyze engagement data to inform future strategies.
Account Management - 30%
  • Build and strengthen connections with a portfolio of alumni, engaging them in leadership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Development team on fundraising from Alumni during the annual campaign.
  • Lead committee meetings and feedback sessions with Alumni to build or improve programs.
Programming - 20%
  • Create tools to support Alumni in leading local programs.
  • Curate content to provide educational resources for alumni.
  • Collaborate with the Network and Programming teams to execute alumni programming at itrek's annual conference.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of related experience in community engagement, program development, or marketing.
  • Strong creative, interpersonal, and communication skills, including excellent writing abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
  • Comfortable with learning new technologies and implementing new systems.
  • Passion for itrek's mission.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
