  4. Conduct regular patrols and inspections of designated areas, including public spaces, meeting rooms, entrances, and external grounds; monitor for unauthorized individuals or vehicles, unsecured doors, and potential safety hazards.
  5. Document incidents involving theft, injury, property damage, or any violations of laws and company policies with detailed reports.
  6. Investigate safety or security incidents involving hotel guests or staff as directed by the Security and Loss Prevention Director or management; oversee the security camera system and collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary.
  7. Respond promptly to emergencies, assess the situation's nature and severity, and take appropriate action, including requesting external assistance if needed; arrange emergency medical care for guests and employees.
  8. Manage key control for the entire property.
  9. Inspect alarm systems, safety equipment, and closely monitor the security of building entrances, service areas, and delivery zones.
  10. Address all guest inquiries, issues, complaints, and phone calls with attentiveness, efficiency, and courtesy.
  11. Handle challenging situations and conflicts professionally, interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  12. Quickly respond to guest requests in a friendly yet professional manner, ensuring follow-up to achieve guest satisfaction that aligns with service standards.
  13. Accompany staff and guests to their vehicles upon request.
  14. Conduct random inspections of employee bags and packages.
  15. Oversee the lost and found process for the resort.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervision: None

Reporting To: Director of Security and Loss Prevention

Qualifications:

Certification in First Aid, CPR, and First Responder is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. A high school diploma or GED is necessary. A background in law enforcement, security, or military service is preferred. Certification in CPR/First Aid for children and infants is required. Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel is essential. Ability to comprehend, write, and execute documents like safety protocols, policy manuals, incident reports, and medical documentation is necessary. Must be capable of following instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Common sense and the ability to address guest and team member needs appropriately are crucial. Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail are required. This is a safety-sensitive position.
