Position Overview: We are actively seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in a collaborative office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax filings for various forms including 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
  • Develop and assess tax strategies.
  • Manage monthly bookkeeping tasks.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee payroll documentation.
  • Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate client depreciation schedules.
  • Stay informed on the latest tax regulations, technological advancements, and software applications.
  • Foster strong client relationships by addressing accounting inquiries and delivering exceptional service.

Work Schedule: The anticipated workload will be approximately 50-60 hours per week during peak tax season and 24-32 hours per week during the off-peak period.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification.
  • Familiarity with accounting and tax software.
