Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Topcon Positioning Group in Livermore, California. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble components and subassemblies.
  • Use hand tools such as strippers, crimpers, cutters, and torque drivers to assemble and secure parts.
  • Support team activities, including 5S and monthly cleaning, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work under pressure and interact effectively with team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and torque up to 50-inch.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and interact effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift to a minimum of 25 pounds and torque up to 50-inch.
  • Position requires bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, and pushing carts.
  • Some overtime required.
  • Standing work position.
  • Pick and pull material from workstation above shoulder level.
