Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Topcon Positioning Group in Livermore, California. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, products, or systems to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately assemble assigned tasks.
  • Gather tools, materials, and position parts or subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
  • Crimps, screws, solders, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Support team activities, including 5S and monthly cleaning.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to take directions from leadership and work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with hand tools such as strippers, crimpers, cutters, torque drivers, and basic production tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and torque up to 50 inches.
  • Position requires bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, and pushing carts.
  • Some overtime required.
  • Standing work position.
