Position Overview:

As a vital member of Liberty Savings Bank FSB, you will deliver exceptional service to our clients by facilitating banking transactions, establishing new accounts, and enhancing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and reconcile a cash drawer, assist with ATM operations, and participate in end-of-day balancing while adhering to security protocols.
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account reconciliations.
  • Open new accounts for various banking products such as checking, savings, and IRAs.
  • Follow the customer onboarding process and the Ask Program to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest relevant products and services through the CNA process.
  • Foster customer relationships by providing appropriate referrals, including loan options.
  • Conduct account research and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Cross-train in various functions within the financial center, including ATM, vault operations, and wire transfers.
  • Contribute to the financial center's sales and service objectives by achieving personal performance targets.
  • Support customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold customer trust by adhering to the Privacy Policy.
  • Comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring minimal financial discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onboarding calls to existing clients and provide tele-consultation as needed.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
  • Participate in team efforts by undertaking other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Professional demeanor with a well-groomed appearance and proper telephone etiquette.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and strong skills in accuracy and cash management.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn industry-specific software.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate verbally and receive information through oral communication.
  • Visual acuity for extended periods of computer use and customer interaction.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for handling coins and operating a keyboard.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
