Position: HR Business Partner Manager

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director for the Americas, the HR Business Partner Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing various human resources functions. This position will also serve as a vital support for payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now for the U.S. workforce and international locations.

The HR Business Partner Manager will act as a key liaison for employees regarding all human resources activities. Leveraging their expertise and commitment to continuous improvement, this individual will be encouraged to provide strategic recommendations to senior management aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and optimizing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily HR operations, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently, encompassing administrative, tactical, and strategic responsibilities.
  • Organize, oversee, and evaluate HR initiatives by scheduling management meetings, addressing employee concerns, training supervisors on effective coaching and disciplinary actions, and providing guidance to employees and management.
  • Lead the onboarding process for both temporary and permanent hires, ensuring a seamless and informative experience that aligns with the organization's vision.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage leave programs, process necessary documentation, and handle disability claims as required.
  • Develop onboarding plans and educate new hires and managers on HR policies, internal procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital employee records, including documentation related to benefits and attendance.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, securing necessary budget approvals and launching activities.
  • Work alongside leadership to ensure the performance review system is effective, measurable, and fair across the organization.
  • Foster collaborative relationships built on trust and credibility with employees and leaders to enhance business performance and organizational capabilities.
  • Drive innovation and transformation within HR functions, utilizing data insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Payroll Management:

  • Utilize external payroll processing services (ADP WFN and Celegro) to accurately administer payroll for approximately 400 employees, addressing payroll inquiries promptly.
  • Compile comprehensive payroll reports, analyze data meticulously, and present findings to company leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide Accounts Payable with necessary carrier invoices, reports, and monthly departmental expenses in a timely manner.
  • Manage the ACA and Year-End checklist within the payroll HRIS system for the U.S.

Benefits Administration:

  • Act as a secondary contact for daily benefits and 401(k) provider partners, overseeing HR and payroll setup for new employees, including ongoing benefits administration.
  • Support the execution of the annual open enrollment process, implementing benefit plans into the HRIS system and managing enrollment and plan changes with carriers.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, focusing on payroll, benefits, employee relations, and development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll processing is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the U.S. is essential; international knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills are necessary.
  • Proactive, positive, and self-motivated attitude is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and work in proximity to loud machinery.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and move throughout the office and production environment.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
