Draft legal memos to support business initiatives with an emphasis on compliance and risk management.

2. Offer legal counsel regarding the company's product internationalization strategies, identifying, mitigating, and addressing legal and compliance risks.

3. Draft and review a diverse array of contracts, business initiatives, and projects, while conducting risk assessments and developing actionable risk mitigation strategies. Create and update various contract templates and initiate compliance projects, such as online marketplace compliance.

4. Manage negotiations for partnerships associated with regional marketing efforts, review promotional materials, and address negative public sentiment.

5. Oversee after-sales disputes, engaging in investigations and negotiations as necessary.

6. Strategically cultivate and maintain external legal resources, including high-quality collaborating attorneys and law firms.

Essential Qualifications:

1. A law degree from a reputable institution in the relevant region is essential, along with a solid foundation in legal theory and a comprehensive understanding of legal issues that may arise throughout the product lifecycle and company operations, encompassing advertising, public relations, sales, after-sales service, logistics, customs, and labor laws.

2. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.

3. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in foreign-related or North American legal practice, with familiarity in the region's laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to cross-border e-commerce. Experience in-house with a consumer goods company is preferred.

4. Strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with a high capacity for learning, initiative, accountability, and teamwork.

5. Willingness to work abroad for extended periods or reside in the relevant region.
