- A vital team player who consistently delivers results for assigned engineering tasks and assists in documenting and approving modifications to essential engineering records.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for delivering new products and enhancements for industrial and select commercial refrigeration systems, including valves, sensors, and controls (level, gas, pressure, flow, temperature, etc.).
- Guarantee the quality, performance, manufacturability, and financial gross margin of product and service deliverables.
- Employ advanced techniques and modified theories to devise technical solutions for a broad spectrum of complex challenges.
- Develop detailed designs, models, and assemblies with appropriate notations, dimensions, tolerances, and corresponding analyses and Critical to Quality parameters (CTQs).
- Design, execute, and analyze results from tests and experiments, including making recommendations for design updates.
- Diagnose issues with test fixtures or product challenges related to fluid flow control, pressure containment, or mechanical components such as pistons, seals, springs, bolts, and diaphragms using root cause analysis methods.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD modeling software (AutoCAD, Solidworks), as well as MS Access, Project, Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Excel functions, creating forms that update linked worksheets, and consolidating worksheets using analytical tools.
- Preferred qualifications include Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience and familiarity with Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Controls Engineering.
- Five to ten years of experience in a mechanical engineering role involving electro-mechanical products.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 10%.
